'I Am Joy', Chichester and the Harlesden Town Team
After my Masters in Leeds I spent a few years in Chichester being involved in the 'I Am Joy' arts and music festival. I set up and released the Joy Magazine as Chief Editor, helped out at the Joy Gallery, organised poetry events and led workshops at the yearly festival. After this I became a primary school teacher in Harlesden and became an Ambassador for the Harlesden Town Team which has rejuvenated the area and was championed by Louis Theroux, the TV presenter.
